Copy Design is a browser extension that helps you inspect elements on web pages and copy their styles. It is designed to work entirely on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Copy Design does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.

Page content, DOM, styles, colors and text you inspect are processed locally in your browser and never sent to any server.
Clipboard actions write to your system clipboard only when you click a copy button.
Exported token files are generated locally and saved by your browser.

Storage

The extension uses local browser storage only to remember settings and whether Pro has been unlocked. This stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Payments

Pro is a one-time purchase handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe to process payments. When you choose to buy Pro, your email and payment details are handled by ExtensionPay/Stripe under their own privacy policies. Copy Design itself never sees or stores your card details.

Permissions

Access to sites / content script — to run the inspector on the page you activate it on, only when you ask.
Storage — to remember your unlock state and settings locally.
Context menus — to add the "Inspect with Copy Design" right-click item.
Downloads — to save the design-tokens file when you export it.

Children's privacy

Not directed at children; no data is collected from anyone.

Changes

Any changes will be posted here and in the extension's store listing.
